AC Oulu had its league licence revoked in February, due to financial problems. They dropped into the Ykkönen.
In addition, the Finnish FA expelled Tampere United from all competitions in April, due to irregularities relating to a marketing deal. Their last competitive game at this level was the 2011 League Cup Final.
