your gimp watermark tutorial was helpful. It taught basic watermarking setup and use. I hope to toy around with gimp and other open source tools. the praise is due.
probably not the first to ask, but can you provide a larger review of pay, shareware and open source watermarking tools. newbies and pros alike would value ur input

Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad the tutorial was useful for you.
I’ve restricted the tutorials to GIMP as it’s open source. That’s the reason we initially went for it, as Photoshop would have cost us £500 at the time.
Once I’d found how to use it, I thought I’d give a few basic tips to others to help them along. So no plans to go beyond GIMP at present.
