Sunday, June 25th, 2006

I’ve never seen a room of people look so depressed after an England win. Surely they can play better than this. If not we deserve to go out.

Ronaldo walks into a Burger King and asks for two Whoppers.
The assistant thinking quickly says “You’re not fat and you can still score goals”

England 2-0 Trinidad & Tobago

Friday, June 16th, 2006

Watched this for 83 mins frustrated and mildly embarrassed, this is after all the team that Sven tells us will win the World Cup.

The only plus was seeing Rooney come on and imagining Alex Ferguson’s face going purple with rage. HA!

Oh and the laugh out loud Crouch effort in the first half. Still, he scored eventually. Had to pull the T&T defenders dreadlocks off to do it though.

What’s the plan F then Sven?

Well we’ve jumped into the 21st century (6 years late) and loaded software to enable some feedback.

If there are any problems bear with us, it’s being tested now and should be bloody perfect by the end of June.

A pain in the Flash

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

Well M$ have released their latest bunch of fixes, which includes the Eolas patch. Microsoft has been forced to update how ActiveX components behave in web pages due to a patent wrangle with Eolas. The consequence being that all our Flash videos will be initially disabled until the user has enabled the ActiveX by clicking on the movie.

We’ve got around this by using some javascript which is widely available on the internet. One of the sites that has it and a fuller explaination is www.mix-fx.com.

Good old Eolas, I thought it was just M$ that were put on this planet to make my life difficult!
